Human relations are social communible, they are expressed in many things but manly themselves i. e material things. Capitalism new people are working for themselves, and in return what they get is a wage. Abstraction- people now produce things for abstract concepts like wages or profit so what was then done for profit is now considered as an individual gain. Eg commodity fettish: ambivalence and unease, capacity for speech, dominance for vison. Subjects to citizens, going from knowing everyone in that village, to never seeing each other, living in huts, to living in mansions and others in crowded apartments. Old system to the new system: struggle for power, cities were frightening for the villagers moving to big cities, they feel cramped.
