How much of our lives are mediated? theres always something mediating us. Our lives are becoming more and more mediated by media technology. We see how we are in relationships with machines. Machines learn from us (more things we clock or more movies we watch becomes something the machine learns about us) this film touches on the way our relationship with others are through machines. Wouldn"t be connected to as many people. Would have to physically be more places. What would go would be the persistent feeling of being poked. Would be more present (part of you wouldn"t be somewhere else) what about daydreaming. Might have to talk to more strangers. Many aspects of our lives rely on our devices and media (jobs, to our connections with others, to our ability to pass time) its not everything it might be many things but not everything. What are those many things ? techne. Help understand relation between people and machine.
