Chapter deals with: once a topic is found, how do you find reliable and credible literature. Articles are often easier to find on topic. They are quicker to write, narrower and usually more up to date. Boundaries are sometimes fuzzy, each has its different use. Primary: comprised of oral written testimony of those who are involved with topic being studied. Research that uses primary sources to solve problems. You can use their data to further your evidence, only if it cannot be found in primary source. Some tertiary sources are specific to certain areas. Sometimes better to start with tertiary sources to get a good grasp of what your subject covers. Also gives you a list of experts in the field. Many people find their research through snowball effect. Searching through bibliographies of books is also a common method used. People publish bibliographies which include all current sources about a particular topic.
