Gods act for good or ill from olympus. Blood caught in pit or poured on ground. Heroes act for good or ill from underworld. Animal chosen and prepared washed, horned gilded, garlands. Tuft of hair cut and thrown on fire. Entrails roasted and shared among select citizens.
