Continuously attached hollywood film industry"s artistic, political and economic monopoly over us cinema through 40s-50s: hollywood has been a major obstacle to the definition and development of motion pictures as a creative fine-art form. Advocated a cinema that would stylistically explore and expand specifically cinematic language.
