Earth"s changing environments: the earth is a constantly changing environment! Most active seismic part of earth"s surface: k/t boundary, still at tail end of series of ice ages, the earth is a constantly changing environment! As a result, climate change does occur and always has occurred- sometimes dramatically: geological time scale (gts)- anywhere there is a massive break in earth or crust, can trace earth"s history through time here. Formed dark cloud around globe: global warming and cooling. The anthropocene : geological era where humans were major contributing factor to changes on earth"s geography and climate, impact of growing human intervention, mass of human influence, nature of human activity.
