Ethnocentrism: the concept where one ethnicity is prone to judge other ethnicities" cultures and compare it to their own, believing theirs to be superior to the rest. Plague (the black death) transferred from groundhogs spread from china to europe. Trade collapsed mobility collapsed and most of the population was wiped out from france to scandinavia. 1-2 degree change in climate proved lethal for feudal europe. Dhow: a sailing ship commonly used by the arabs that does really well travelling from the red sea over to the east and back.
