Forming criminal liability = attaching the accused to the offense. Three ways to become party to an offense. 21 (1) everyone is a party to an offence who. (b) does or omits to do anything for the purpose of aiding any person to commit it; or. Aiding and abetting: has knowledge of the crime, complicit, assist in it commission through advice, actions, financial support etc. Aiding: to provide assistance, support, or relief, such as money or supplies. Abetting: to encourage, support or countenance by aid or approval.
