Historically the legal system in canada is based on a more apprenticeship model before gaining memberships to the law society. Currently the canadian legal training is a more streamlined approach to education. Students must take part in the articling process before they can receive a membership to the canadian law society. These are issues seen within the legal system: access to justice, diversity, micro-ethics. These are issues facing lawyers or legal service providers: conflicts of interest, confidentiality.
