Judge-made law (common law): law is made up of a series of rules governing interactions between people, and groups, two types of law: statutes (formal written law) and common law (judge made law, policy is much less concrete. They are used to help shape the law. Statutes/legislation (creation and implementation): law makers are looking for policies that are relevant, the statues (laws) begin as bills introduced into the house of commons or senates or. When it is produced it goes through the first reading (intro to the bill) next there is a second reading. Then if passed on individuals representing each group look over the law and have lawyers look into the bill to see if it follows the constitutions.
