Measure of impulsivity is during the no-go trials, unable to inhibit responding. When you change to immediate reinforcer, measure of impulsivity. Addicts, reinforcer related to their addiction, even more impulsive. Left lever, immediate reward, 1 sugar pellet. Right lever, varied wait time (0, 10, 20, 30, 40), 5 sugar pellets. Get them to learn this over 10 days then give alcohol to see how it changes their response. Animals trained to perform a response in order to get a drug. Lever press leads to no drug, eventually pressing declines.
