Domesic factors are the most important factors to explain development. All countries go from tradiional society to a modern one through stages. A linear, no backing up, path of development. To form one major factor which has the poliical correlate of democracy. In a poliical development, a country would immediately achieve democracy. In a modern society, people wold be able to move upward but in a tradiional society people didn"t have that opion. W. w rostow postulated that countries developed through a series of stages: Age of high mass-consumpion (from tradiional socieies to modern socieies)
