Books 3-4: politics is the praxis of moral and ethical virtue (public activity, speed and deed) Courage is the middle between being timid and fearful, and rash and reckless. Politics is about exercising correct judgement in order to lead a virtuous life. Can"t be any of these things alone all of them are social activities: typology of regimes. All constitutions are aiming for a recognized principle of the good life, and some are better than others. Attempts to deal with the world as it is says every regime has its use: statesmanship political rule between equals ruling and being ruled in turn. Citizens those who participate in ruling and being ruled. Regime arrangements and distribution of offices and authoritative element. Balance and mixing of democracy and oligarchy = stability and rule of law. Rule of law in any circumstance is better than personal arbitrary rule.
