Social psychology is the study of how other individuals think about, influence and relate to one another. Social psychologists connect all this to an individual"s behavior. Attribution theory: this is a way of looking at how people engage in motivated. Dimensions of causality (dimensions of the cause) behavior. We use this to predict their future behavior: locus of causality: the location of the cause is either internal or external to you, stability, controllability. Internal uncontrollable situations cause high levels of shame. Problems that are external to you and controllable by other people can cause high levels of anger. Isabel correia, jorge vala and patricia aguiar. Study one: testing to study if participants become more sensitive to issues of justice/fairness. One of a boy who was accountable for his situation that led to injury. Another that showed the boy was not at fault for what happened to him. Participants are then given a stroop test (colored word test)
