Reporting research results: accountability and transparency, fraudulent data, ethical analysis. Format of a research paper: sections, styles and references. The title should be as informative as possible within the constraints of short length. It should provide information about the primary variables (and/or theory, group of participants, etc. ) The title is one of the main ways that other researchers will decide whether or not your research is relevant to their research (example: whether they want to read it) Along with the title, the abstract is the other major way other researchers will decide whether or not your research is relevant. Abstracts and titles are provided in computerized databases that can be searched via keywords. A brief summary of the entire paper (100-150 words) Previous work: in discussing previous work a succinct, relevant summary is required; it does not have to be (cid:523)and shouldn"t be(cid:524) a recitation of every fact known about the topic. Body of intro, paragraphs indented and left justified.
