Use of crop rotation, mechanical cultivations and mulch to reduce weeds. Use of bids, insects, and naturally derived toxins to control pests. Capitalism and agriculture: late entry of capitalism into agricultural productions, agriculture lands based high capital costs in relations to other forms of investments, seasonality and natural risks. Seasons equipment/labor long periods of being idle or unproductive.
