Part iii of the course will consist of four lectures: lecture 09: representation of knowledge, lecture 10: mental imagery, lecture 11: comprehension: written language, lecture 12: applied cognition. We will focus on basic processes in reading: visual processing, visual word recognition. Getting words into the system involves translation of written symbols into meaning.
