This diagnossi is not often made since it usually overlaps with other disorders. Neurons are not created to replace the ones killed. If your entire brain was neuroplastic it wouldn"t be beneficial. Every time you would learn something new it would change the characteristics of the brain. Cognitive neurons do not adapt as well as sensory or motor neurons. It can create new axonal sprouts and repurpose or reprogram synaptic firing.
