M. k. is male, and at the time of being released on parole he was 42-years-old; he is now 43- years-old. Most recently, m. k. had been serving time for a sexual offence against a stranger, male child. M. k. has been in and out of prison since his early 20s, usually for drug offences. Prison records show he frequently expresses remorse for his crimes, including his recent sex offence. M. k. is a loner with self-esteem problems and has never had a long-term relationship with a woman. Prison psychologists have indicated that m. k. has problems with impulse control and substance abuse. M. k. has always had a tough time holding down jobs, mostly because he has trouble with authority. Just recently, m. k. got fired from his warehouse job for fighting with co-workers. M. k. had been living with his mother, who he has a volatile relationship with, but she kicked him out.
