Estimates of 3 to 5 percent of school-age population in north america. Boys outnumber girls 3 to 1 boys (hyperactive or impulsive type of adhd), while girls exhibit (inattentive type of adhd) No statistics because adhd is not a separate category. Presumption that most students are in general education classrooms & less than half receive special education services.
