Showed evidence of long term predictivity: waiting all 15 mins students did in school, health but not a perfect correlation. No waiting may be right has it may be more rational to eat now; may not get marshmallows or someone may steal it. In other words, rather than assume the child"s will power was the reason for the results, the researchers looked at the reliability of the environment.
