Myth - george washington - cherry tree, serves a purpose, honesty, integrity. Genesis 1-11 - not stories that happened in real time, point is to give jews answers to their questions. Adam & eve, garden of eden, creation - explains the creation of the universe. The flood - tells you not to sin.
