The deviant behaviour is behaviour that ppl so label. 2 types of deviance primary- committing the act one time only secondary- committing the act on a regular basis, *****on exam. Commits again and there is stronger penalty and rejections. Start to react with hostility to the ppl punishing them. Reach crisis point and labelled as deviant. Penalties and rejections strengthen the deviant conduct. Acceptance of deviance role and strengthens person. Stigmatic shaming the opposite, traditional court room, you violate law, danger to society go to court do your sentence. Stigmatic- form of shamming imposed as a sanction the criminal justice system tht is thought to destroy the moral bond btw the offender nd community.
