Criminal subcultures rebel against group which is in charge of their oppression. Some people and place cannot be committed crime on. These rules constantly change on what is safe and what isn"t. Outside pressures can change the code in which criminals operate. Members of criminal subcultures search for extrinsic and intrinsic rewards. The acts they commit are illegal but not immoral. Subcultures make us connect the different levels of society that sociology studies. Subcultures allows you to be unique, cool without conforming. Fitting in means being cool and being cool means asserting ones individuality.
