Gendered racial violence and spatialized justice: the murder of pamela george. Two young white males murdered an aboriginal women in a small prairie city. The fact that she was a prostitute was something to be considered in the case. Racist against aboriginals saying they live in communities were a lot of murders happen already. Sexual violence allows men to get as close to other men without being endangering their selves as being heterosexuals. Degrading a woman in front of another man is attractive to them. The guys choose pamela because she was aboriginal. Her status as a prostitute made the court believe it"s just something that happens in places like that. She was judged for prostitution, but the guys were never judged for purchasing a prostitute. Race, social position and gender were made to disappear during the trial and in sentencing.
