Open coding a form of analysis that looks for major themes emerging from the data. After open coding, axial coding is performed. Here, a core or central theme is looked for. Various categories related to the core theme are then found. There are many types of themes around the core (axial coding model) i) ii) iii) causal conditions: cause the core category. Strategies: actions taken in response to the core category. The researcher will deconstruct the axial model to explain the lengths between the different categories. The researcher will present some hypothesis to explain the links between the categories.
