Community assessment: theoretical principles that guide community assessment. As a chn, you need to be exceptionally sensitive to the society around us and the privilege that each individual may or may have. Types of communities include: geopolitical, geographic or service related boundaries, aggregate, common interests, beliefs, culture, goals, etc, virtual, on-line common interests. Leadership: formal and informal, decision making, formal (policy, law, etc) Nb: theses are ideal but not all communities have those factors.
