Ledger: book containing all accounts, accounts have separate pages. General ledger: contains all asset, liability and all equity related accounts (capital, revenue, expenses) Sub-ledger: details related to a specific general ledger account. Trial balance: listing of all accounts and their balances from the general ledger at a given point in time. Adjusted trial balance: after end of period adjustments.
