Begins with the basic assumption that implies that organizations must recognize and apply their strengths in order to create positive change. To start, an organization must appreciate and value the best of what already exists. The organization must then share success stories and dreams in order to identify strengths and possibilities. This method of change can be used to improve the self, others, teams, organizations and communities. Ai is a highly successful tool that contributes to team building, and discovers, expands and sustains the best of what an organization can offer. Allows continuity with what has worked well in the past and respects unique cultures that are successful in their own way. Positive questions are asked to generate images of possibility. Threats and problems are not ignored but reframed and reimagined through a lens of possibility. It takes skill on the part of the facilitator to frame, shape and embellish the images group members generate into affirming and generative ones.
