Although time always seems to y by, we all really do have the same 24 hours in a day. This brings up the question, why are some people able to manage their time so much more ef ciently and accomplish so much more during those same 24 hours. Well, this is because of effective time management and i am going to describe to you all a couple theories and can be very helpful for those who are struggling in this area. The time matrix theory is a matrix divided into 4 quadrants to help prioritize your tasks when you are faced with many tasks at once. The idea is to make use of the four quadrants to help you prioritize your tasks based on importance and urgency. The rst quadrant, quadrant 1 is important deadlines with high urgency these are tasks and responsibilities that require immediate attention such as pressing problems, projects with deadlines, nals or even emergencies.
