District 3: nonprofit organization, free for concordia students. If you have an idea/proposal, they will help develop it in order to be able to sell it properly. Also hold workshops on various subjects (3d printing for beginners, look into!!) Slides are as important for delivery as the proposal itself: mostly images, tells the story instead of large sentences. Keep text to key words, and to a minimum. Do not look at your slides, or rehash the text the slides show. Tell a story, and let the slides add the imagery. Don"t ramble off, talk slowly and use simple words so others can understand. Explain the values it has, the problems this will fix. Memorize your pitch, if it"s too complex to recite from memory then it"s not effective. It should guide the narrative: setting the tone, your pitch and visuals are setting the tone.
