Locke"s conception on property: a commons, everyone owns it, shared property. Right to property based upon our labor, act of appropriation, value added theory of labor, value of something = value you impart to it, mixed your labour with it. Treating labor with the value of what is worth, value is not identified with something"s worth. Ties property to liberty: liberalism associating rights with property leads to consequences. Not providing a position for rampant acquisition: two limitations to acquiring property in state of nature. Consent of individuals in a state of nature is necessary to be a part of society, tacit and express consent. Express consent is when you actively agree (either by voice or in writing) that you are in accord with a certain course of action. Tacit consent is assumed when you don"t actually state your agreement, but raise no objection (in voice or in writing) to a certain course of action (i. e. ; by standing "mute).
