Sept 18: introduction and overview dimanche 17 septembre 2017. Administrative law = the area of law overseeing governmental decisions made by authorities, departments or officials. The government = process that makes the state function. Statutes are the body of the law consisting of written laws adopted by a legislative body (legislation) Law is found under both civil law and common law. It deals with the legal remedies that affect the citizens taken by a governmental institution. Judicial applies to the judicial aspects of the law. Made to manage the relationships between the government and the people. Private the tribunal is created by an act (constitutive act) and nobody else can make a decision in the tribunal ( to take a decision) To know if someone is ultra vires (act outside of its power) & beyond the powers it is the term used if one of the 2 orders of the government go further the legislation sphere.
