It"s a very important period in someone"s life time. It is a time where the individual starts to talk, and behave more in the concern of the whole society, rather than concentrating on improving just yourself. Stagnation is when you"re not too satisfied of your life. Empty nest syndrome: children have grown up, move to college, leaving their parents. Midlife crisis: it is a transition of identity. They start to ask themselves deeper questions, and self- realising that they"re getting older. Sandwich generation boomerang: the sandwich generation boomerang are people, usually in their. 30s-40s, that support their aging parent as well as their children. Burnout: it is when the person is no longer enjoying what he/she is doing. Relationships and adjustment to divorce: very often, the new relationship is very different from the first relationship.
