Claim - anything that is published has to be based by theories that must be backed up by empirical evidence. Research study conducted to find that evidence but not just any research study. Bc ppl are very quick to claim cause and effect and rare that things are clear cause and effect, there are many bad studies done that come to cause & effect. So need to do great good research studies which is hard to do. To create research study, yes based on past research but also based on interest so need to be personally motivated. Sometimes disagree, so need to be motivated but disagreements happen. Study conducted over span of 10 yrs, summarize in either newspaper article or in 30sec vid but impossible to accurately rep. Often when claiming cause/effect relationship when there isn"t. Very challenging to present what"s found and make it, plus need to get ppl"s attention in so little time.
