Increase profit -> single-species management -> multi-species management -> ecosystem-based management: ex. Cod fishery): to reduce stock to level where growth is at maximum, midway between zero and carrying capacity, how far below k do you want to go. That depends on fishing: need to incorporate fishing losses and fishing effort. Info on increase in resource population (stock = s: need recruitment = r and growth = g, at what population size will the population be stable. Info on decrease in resource population: natural mortality = m, harvest mortality = f.
