Social: interdependent (dependent on each other, in order to get along, we have to work together, seen as more of the cooperative cast. Political: different cast, a state that is normally ordinary or natural to us, political animals are viewed as under the umbrella of the social cast, seen as more of the competitive cast. Descriptive: the explanation of how things are. Normative: how we want things to change. No country is isolated from the world"s gaze. Countries are all affected by borders crossing. Globalization is incredibly apparent: it makes us more interdependent. Multiculturalism (diversity within communities: discrimination and inequality because of differing views globalization: the reference to markets, economic development around the world (in terms of labour, resources etc. ) We are embedded but we also value individual rights . Freedoms of some can run up against other"s freedoms which can cause con icts.
