If child not exposed during this period, language does not develop: from first year of life to around age 12, the (cid:272)ase of (cid:862)ge(cid:374)ie(cid:863) was never able to develop full human language- lacked syntax. Linguistic determinalsims: how do we represent thoughts in our minds, mental representation, structure in the mind that stands for something else.
