It is a bit yellow in order to absorb ultraviolet light. 1: one muscle connected to the top of the eye (superior rectus) Its pair is at the bottom of the eye (inferior rectus: muscle on the side of the eye (medial rectus) its pair is called the lateral rectus, muscle on top of eye called the superior oblique.
