Gordon allport"s: social sciences all answer questions about the social being (in different points of view), though social psychology doesn"t have it"s own area it does have it"s own core on how to look and answer questions. We as beings fit in both the psychology and social world. It attempts to answer in how the thought feeling and behavior of an individual are influenced (imagined or implied) by the presence of other beings. Brehm & kassin: the scientific study of the way individual thinks, feel, desire, and act in social situations.
