Manson"s teenage mom was a prostitute, was constantly beaten and in and out of juvy systems --> experienced childhood trauma. A person with depression may have a family history of depression. Changes in personal and interpersonal development such as: Mother married a bit later to an abusive and alcoholic stepfather. They had another child and it was abused too. How well adjusted is the boy likely to be as an adult.
