The problem that biologists have with play is that play is a lost of spent energy, behavioural ecologists and sociobiologists don"t like the idea that you spend a lot of energy to play for no reason. Maybe however, play is good such that you"re less stressed. There"s a cost to it, but the rewards are much greater.
