Object could be another person, an inanimate object, or a representation of a person or object. Both attending to this third component of their interaction. When infants are very immature in sese of developing their common sense psychology, they tend to use objects that are in their immediate environment. An infant/child will be really interested in a toy, and push it towards the mom as a way to exchange interest in the object. The fact the infant wants to engage the adult is fulfilling. In terms of t. i there has been debate as to what this means. It is a non- obvious form of communication that most people think is trivial, but there is an underlying message into what t. i suggests in terms of socio-cognitive development. In order to demonstrate t. i you have to have some type of social conceptual system thing as them. The infant must know that they other people is interested in the same.
