After reading defining equity in health, i have gained a better insight about role of social justice in the development of hit. However, to fully grasp this concept, i believe nurses must first need to understand the definition of equity in the context of various health determinants. This is because not all health inequalities reflect inequity in health, which implies unfair processes in the distribution of resources and opportunities needed to obtain wellbeing. So it is important nurses keep the social determinants of health in mind while assessing the level of equity in proposed policies and programs.
