Document Summary

How would you know how much people are influenced by others. 85% of people help others when the individual is by themselves and not in a group. We look for other people to step up first, and if no one does then you tend to do it. Strongest among strangers because we like to look poised and sophisticated so we are unlikely to help, we don"t know how other people will react to us. If someone is following you, go to the crowded place but don"t wait for help. You in the orange top call the police! people will respond much more willingly: fashion trends have less to do with the quality, function, etc. but more so of what everyone has. When people see attractive people, they overestimate the good qualities of that person and put a halo over their head. The halo effect even goes to that person"s partner as well.
