The nazi"s rise to power: comparison with italian fascism. Mussolini in 1930"s began to form an alliance with hitler. The black shirts germany sa and brown shirts were the followers (soldiers who were in their 20"s and late 30"s). The members of the black and brown shirts" identity was given by orders of their leaders (obedience in their leaders). Hitler hated multi-culturalism and loves the war (he was a messenger in the no man"s land). War was the foundation of support for mussolini and hitler. Hitler"s anger was due to the treaty of versailles. Both mussolini and hitler were anti-communist but claimed that they were revolutionaries. Both planned to gain power legally and hated democracy. Conservatives helped mussolini and hitler be in power. Both claimed that it was their destiny to lead the country. Got people"s attention by giving and presenting things that appealed and touched people"s emotion: ethnic nationalism - the volk or volksgemeinschaft.
