Substantial numbers of elderly men and women have active sex lives. One influence on sexuality in the elderly is the fact that there are far more elderly women than elderly men. Four stages of sexual response: excitement. Both female and males emphasizes fatal congestion. In females heart races, clitoris tip swell, penetration. In males fatal congestion causes erection, testicles start to swell and pulls up to body: plateau (males) & late excitement (females) In female uterus begins to elevate, thickening in outer third vagina, penetration has occur in vagina, gripping feeling. Penis reaches it largest enlargement, cowper"s gland secretion: orgasm.
