Two basic physiological processes that underline sexual response: vasocongestion: accumulation of blood in blood vessels of a region of the body, especially the genitals; a swelling or erection results, myotonia: muscle contractions. Four stages of sexual response: excitement. Both female and males emphasizes fatal congestion. In females heart races, clitoris tip swell, penetration. In males fatal congestion causes erection, testicles start to swell and pulls up to body: plateau (males) & late excitement (females) In female uterus begins to elevate, thickening in outer third vagina, penetration has occur in vagina, gripping feeling. Penis reaches it largest enlargement, cowper"s gland secretion: orgasm.
