Every board must have a school council for each school ("active participation of
parents")

Parent Involvement Council: parents, teacher, another school employee,
student rep, community rep

Meets at least 4 times a year

directly or indirectly to the director, basically CEO of board… all powerful (Ie.

Superintendent (Supervisory Officer): lead and supervise schools and programs
(powerful), student achievement, buildings maintained, oversee principal,
oversee performance appraisals
