There are 2 types of smog (fog with a high pollution content): industrial and photochemical: industrial smog, so2, h2so4, & spm, holds chemical air pollutants down so it won"t disperse as much, causes grey-air cities. Photochemical smog: complex mixture of co, no, hydrocarbons, no3, 03, h202, formaldehyde under the influence of sunlight. Secondary reaction happens and causes increased amount of air pollution from the sun. E. g: no from cars + o2 > no2 - yellowish brown gas in brown air cities. E. g: no2 + sunlight > no + o. O + o2 > o3 - ground level ozone. Short term changes in the temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, precipitation, sunshine, cloud cover, wind direction and speed, and other conditions in the troposphere at a given place and time. Physical properties of the troposphere of an area based on analysis of its weather records over a long period of time (at least 30 years).
