Document Summary
The purpose of this report is to explain why grd corporation is completing its projects over time and over budget. Based on our analysis of the survey results, we have concluded that these issues are caused by a general lack of communication within the project teams, and a lack of expertise by project staff. We see many factors that contribute to these deficiencies. Additionally, we also found that many of these trouble spots are directly linked to a lack of education. To solve the problems faced by grd, we have decided upon two recommendations that we believe can help grd finish projects on time and within its budget. First, we suggest that the company acts to improve overall communication within its project teams. This would entail rethinking the way project teams are assembled. This would be done by focusing on team building and making sure each team is balanced in regards to core competencies.
